This morning I was taking photos of several cards. I couldn't decide which one to share. I pondered over each photo and that alone took way too much time this morning. Then I had to securitize every little detail that I photographed and ended up taking more pictures. Creating seems to be such a small part of the process compared to taking pictures. Finally I decided on two cards and a little sneak peek for next week.

The first card uses a stamp I had long before I knew anything about The Rubber Cafe. When Melissa took over The Rubber Cafe I went and looked for all stamps related and this was one of them, Small Star Ladybug. This was the hardest card to photgraph. Between the glossy accents and cuttlebugged black background the camera just didn't like it. I did manage to get a little bit of the sparkly goodness I added to the small star ladybugs.

The second card I decided to share uses one of the newer stamps Dancin' Cheek to Cheek. I finally found a use of slime green pearls. It's hard to tell in this photo, but these pearls do match up beautifully. The background is cuttlebugged using the Allegro folder. I used a corner punch to make the medallion that shows these lovers off so sweetly. A fiskars border punch and ribbon make a nice finish to this card.

Finally...a little sneak peak. Next week I'll be giving you a little tutorial on how I made this fun background and card using one of my favorite tools (hint...it's not an embossing folder). I hope you enjoy.

Thanks everybody for stopping by. Be sure to leave a comment or two so that our design team knows they are loved. Have a great week.

Great cards, both of them! Love how you played with that corner punch, and wow, the effect of glossy accent!
