Hope you all had a great 4th of July! Hope you enjoyed our week filled with red, white and blue cards!
I have a photo vintage card today. I saw this really great sketch over at 365 cards yesterday and it simply shouted out – use a photo and that cute It’s a dog’s life stamp!!! So I did. LOL!
It’s for my hubby (who is the happy gent on the photo. The gal with the silly glasses would be me, and theeee cutest dog ever is Flisan) and I thought it’s a card and a photo to have on his desk all in one. I’ll mail it to his work as a surprise. I used some Basic Grey Nook & Pantry papers and a Kraft card base. I inked all the edges with some brown chalk and stamped the It’s a dog’s life stamp with distress ink to get a little vintage feel on that. When all was glued down and stitched, I went over all the edges with my finger nails. Works fine, but if you are afraid about your manicure, do the distressing with a tool BEFORE adhering it. Just a friendly tip…
Have a great new week, and see you again next Monday!

How adorable is this! I love how you combined a photo in with your card and all your distressing and stitching really makes this come to life! Of course, I'm a doggie lover too.
