Of all the seasons Summer is my favorite of all. I'm in love with the bright colors, the beautiful sunny days by the beach and just hanging out sipping on a freshly sqeezed cup of lemonade. It's amazing how fast the days go by. I was playing around with new stamps and wanted to give you a little sneek peek and leave a little taste of summer. The new stamps include fruit, jars, backgrounds and lables oh my. For about a day and a half I just kind of looked at them...couldn't make up my mind what to do. Then...hubby brought me a large glass of lemonade and it hit me. I had seen these really cute cup cards all over splitcoast and had never made one...really...never.
This was my first...honest. I liked the technique so much that I did the same thing with the jars and captured the small trailing butterflies inside. Do you remember being a kid and capturing bugs in a jar? I do. I was a bit of a tom boy...so that might have had a little to do with it. I have to say...this was a fun technique. I'll do it again for sure.
Next week...I'll have a completed tutorial on the squash book so don't forget to check back. In the meantime...have a great week and thanks for stopping by.

How fun Lisa! I've never tried this one either. Love the "table cloth" you put your cup on...very clever!
uhm, how cut are those?! I saw the challenge on SCS...but that is the only one I didn't try for VSN!
Yours are totally adorable! :)
Great projects. I'll have to try this cup card for myself.
