It's an Inspirational Day at The Rubber Cafe

I want to take the this time to say Thank You to all of our readers and a very Happy New Year!!

If you've been keeping up with the blog, and I hope you have, we've been talking about what what inspires us to stamp. Like the rest of the design team, I get a lot of inspiration from magazines and catalogs, looking at my art supplies, or beautiful new stamps…but what inspires me the most is my family. I have two very wonderful boys and the best grandparents anybody could ask for. The boys are all grown up now, but when they were little I resolved to make my first scrapbook. Needless to say I’ve been stamping ever since…about 20yrs now. Let me share with you my leading inspirations. Michael is 23, and Christopher is 19 in two weeks. My grandparents, George and Evelyn, are 94yrs old and have been sharing 72yrs of marriage to date.

They OOO and AAAHHH at everything I make, so of course I have to make more. They are my lifelong inspiration. Today...a reminder of Love and Inspiration.

I've used Fleuradidy 1 and the heart from the Lace Set for the inspiration card and Thank You 3, an embossing folder from the Cuttlebug Heritage collection and Spellbinders Labels Fourteen for my Thank You card.
What inspires you? Please leave a comment and let us know. We love to hear from you.

I wonder what was the favorite stamp set of 2010... that would make a great challenge.
