What Inspires ME

What Inspires ME ... When I started out on this adventure ... my first inspiration was Pauline,( A dear Friend) Micheal Strong (Local Rubber Stamp Artist) and of course Lisa (Design Team Lead) .These three people taught me the basics of stamping and creating. As time has gone on there have been several people that have influenced me and assisted the journey that I am on. Living my dream ... creating my passion and playing everyday .

My wonderful husband gives me all the space that I need to create ... when he told me to try and start my own company , I really do not think that he had any idea what that involved . My hobby has taken over our home and lives. In my husbands spare time you can find him doing accounting, working on graphics , taking pictures , pressing stamps, cutting stamps , packaging stamps, shipping orders and there is so much more but I think that you get the point. He inspires me to work harder and put everything I have into this company .(And I do )

The friends that help with show set up ... There is a special place for you ...

Not a great picture of me but these two ladies are RUBBER CAFE junkies and have become part of the family .
There are so many people along the way ... that inspired me to keep going ... Thank you Amy

My Studio before the flood ... oh how I miss you !
My wonderful customers and stores that support us ...

Then there are my friends ... wow I have some good ones . They have spent endless hours with me helping and helping . They are always willing to burn the midnight oil with me . There have been some really long nights ... Anna , P.J., Suey , Julie , Mer , Lisa , Trish ,Diane,Grace and many more .. Thank you
A little bit of info that some of you may not know about me ... my creative MOJO is null and void unless surrounded by friends . I am what you call a social crafter . My friends make everything I do possible they make me think outside the box , encourage me to do things that I am too chicken to do . They inspire me to take on projects that I would never have the time to do unless I had them .

I also have my Fur Babies ... that inspire me ... you may have seen a few Labrador stamps and some Pugs along the way . Some of the stamps that we do mimic their behaviors and the looks on their faces . Nothing like crafting and listening to my PUG snore to get the creative juices flowing . (I wouldn't have it any other way )
There is a Class Act design team here at The Rubber Cafe .These gals are really amazing ... week after week these gals keep the blog together .My favorite part of the month is when they send all the cards to me and I get to see them in person . I literally can sit down and make a dozen cards after opening a box from any of them .
My daily dose of inspiration comes from reading random blogs .. I find myself lost daily in blogland and will see neat things and when it comes time to find it again ... Its lost in blogland .
This project is my interpretation of something that inspired me yesterday that I saw ... KUDOS BRAVO to the woman that came up with the idea . I loved it so much that I had to make it and add a Cafe TWIST to it .

What do you think ??? Let me know ... I am going to give away one of our very popular cupcake sets ... If you leave a comment and become a friend of ours on Facebook . I love giving stuff away ..

Don't forget we want to know what inspires you .... Come on show us some love ... I know that we have viewers ...

I love reading the blogs, too. I used to buy all the magazines but have whittled it down to just a couple because the blogs are so much more detailed and with You Tube links in many of them, well the only thing better is a live performance at a local store or convention. With hubby losing his job to his company bankruptcy in 2009, I have had to cut way back so I cut back on clothes and food. I need my fix somehow, so I prioritize what I need for my artsy fartsy crafting. Now I just need to find time to sit and glitter myself up.

oooh....your studio was amazing...I can't wait to see the photos of your after the flood studio!

I'm a hermit stamper...I do my best stuff when I am ALONE! Socially stamping, I never get much done....probably chatting too much! LOL!

Love your cupcake project...you need to put that in your booth!

I feel pretty special to be the very first person you mention in your blog. You certainly took it and ran with it when you got 'hooked'. I'm so proud of how far you've come. You did all that just from one stamp date. Wow!

This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I enjoy seeing websites that understand the value of providing a prime resource for free. I truly loved reading your post. Thanks!
