Be Stylish

One of my favorite new stamps from The Rubber Cafe is Be Stylish designed by Candy Rosenberg. It's a to die for Corset that screams to be layered and embellished. I stamped it, cut it out and glittered it to the hilt. Then I added strips of One and Only tape to the backside to add ribbon. I layered the pink first then added another strip of tape to layer the cream ribbon. I made paper roses by punching a circle and cutting it into a spiral. The spiral is then quilled into a beautiful rose. Each rose has a light pink Jelly Dot in the center that was adhered with a tiny drop of Scrap Happy glue. I also used a little bit of Scrap Happy glue to add some glitter to the tops of each rose. The background wasn't made with patterned paper. You may have noticed...our weekly challenge was no patterned paper. So...I cut strips of pink stardream paper and glued them to the cream cardstock, then embossed with one of the folders from the Heritage set. I layered it all onto chipboard that was covered in black carstock and sponged with black ink. Finally, I added a little pink ribbon to hang with style.

It was a little hard to photograph the glitter...oh...but it's there.
Our design team has done a wonderful job with this challenge. Don't forget to stop by and give them a little love.
Now...On to the winner...
