This week's challenge at
The Rubber Cafe was to make a card with NO designer paper. I'm on vacation and it seems that my brain was too....so I'm posting this a day late! Be sure that you scroll down to see the regular Monday post!! What I did for my background paper was to stamp the
Blossom Branch randomly with Tim Holtz Peeled Paint. Then I randomly added Peeled Paint, Frayed Burlap and Victorian Velvet inks to distress the panel. Next I ran it through Cuttlebug's Hounds Tooth embossing folder and then inked it again with Peeled Paint distress ink. For the main image, I stamped
Blossom Branch on ivory cardstock and colored it with
Copic Markers E44, RV89, RV34 and RV32. The sentiment is from
Give Momma Some Love. Other items on this card are Martha Stewart border punch, vintage seam binding and adhesive pearls. Come join
the challenge for a chance to win a prize!
