Dots Dots Everywhere

What a great challenge this week. We've had so many wonderful responses to the polka dot challenge...Thanks Kristine.

I've been having fun playing with a new product this week called "Candies" and I thought they fit right in with the challenge. I used them at the base of the card and dropped a few around the corset from Be Stylish. This has quickly become one of my favorite stamps. I really enjoy, not just stamping it, but really getting creative with each corset I make. I used swiss dots embossing folder on my acetate and stamped the sentiment so that it shows through the acetate. I used one of the background stamps from the Vintage set and stamped it on the teal green cardstock. The brown cardstock is scored using the scor-pal and the scor-bug and then brushed over with teal chalk ink. She's tied up in a bow and I used the same ribbon to finish the top of the card. It's a little hard to tell...and taking a picture of any glittered item really takes talent...but I've glittered her up with Your So Fine Glitter and colored over the glitter with a light blue Promarker. If you haven't seen the Promarkers should really check them out. They're less expensive then copics and I think they're much easier to control the ink. They are alcohol based and have a bullet tip instead of a brush tip. They also have a cool chisel tip as well. They have quickly become one of my favorite go to pens for coloring.

Now...for this weeks winner.

Our winner this week is Paul.
