I started with teal blue cardstock 7" x 7 1/2" and scored at 3 3/4". I used a 2" circle (blue Marvy) punch on the front panel. I then cut a brown piece of cardstock 7" x 3 3/4" and embossed using a cuttlebug folder. I used a little bit larger punch (pink Marvy) to punch the brown cardstock. I lined the brown carstock over the top of the blue and traced the circle so I would know where to punch. easy alignment.
The butterfly and inner circle were stamps from the Vintage Treasures set. I stamped the butterfly using a teal green and then sponged ScrapHappy glue over the entire image. I let it dry for a few seconds and then tapped You're So Fine glitter over the glue for a great sparkle. The butterfly was cut and the wings were shaped with the scor-pal tool.
I diecut two different labels and layered them and stamped with Mom from the Give Mamma Some Love set and finished off the label with teal Jelly Dots.
Lastly, the cream cardstock on inside measures 7" x 3 1/4" and was stamped with Special Thoughts outlined
A quick tip to get your pieces to line up...once you have placed your adhesive on your cardstock, lay them together using the scor-pal or buddy as a guide. Lining up the pieces in the corner ensures your card will be lined up vertically and horizontally.
