Vintage Suitcase!

Hi! Hope you are enjoying our “Anything but a card” week! I know I sure am. I’ve had fun playing with several stamp sets from The Rubber Café, trying to make a vintage looking Suitcase and card.

Resväska 1

Outside. It measures approximately 4x3 and I folded it out of a piece of cardstock just like you would fold a box, but letting the bottom and the lid share one side. (If you get what I mean… If not shout out, and I might be able to make a quick tut for next week!)

INside there is a decorated lid and a tag and a card. Here is the whole thing.

And a close up on the details from the outside of the suitcase. Do you see the soft pattern on the tag? I stamped the text stamp from the Steampunk Charity Wings with a light beige ink. Love how that came out. The hinges got some Crackle accent on them and the butterfly from the Vintage Treasure Set got some Glitter glam (but it doesn’t show on the photo).

The sentiment on the tag and on the card are from the very versatile set Fabulous Phrases.

Hope you had a lovely Mothers Day celebration and that you got some time to scrap!

Thanks for popping by!

Absolutely stunning. I would love a tutorial on how to make the box. It would be perfect for a wedding card I have to make. Thank you. Anita x
