Share a beautiful wedding or anniversary card, an invite to a wedding or party, or maybe a scrapbook layout with a wedding theme and you could be our winner. Each week, a winner is randomly chosen from our entries. Even if you don't win, your card or project may be featured here...so keep an eye out.
This is the perfect challenge for me this week. I have friends that are getting married this weekend...and the groom asked me to design a card for his bride to be. The colors for the wedding are a muted blue and brown. He wanted it simple but big...ok...I was on it. This is what I came up with.
One of my favorite cards to give is a squash book card. With a long, elegant vintage look, this card has that simple but big wow factor. Open, this card spans two feet, and closed with a bow, it folds down to 4 1/4 inches square. The Large Celtic Rosette lays flat against three panels, with a sentiment from the set Give Momma Some Love on a spellbinders label to finish the inside. The front, also stamped with the Large Celtic Rosette, has been hand cut, given some dimension and finished off with a pearl Jelly Dot in the center. The tiny little sentiment "Love" is from Fabulous Phrases. The glitter that frames the rose is You're so Fine glitter that feels oh so soft to the touch.
This a great project for your Scor-Pal or Ultimate. Now...do I make a box or a bag to wrap it?
