Challenge # 31 Through the Window

So...last week I was really unprepared for the challenge.  I went on the road with Melissa thinking she would have a computer by which to upload a pic of the banner I had made...the banner that is in her booth and not a good picture was taken...and that just didn't work out.  That'll teach me to do things a head of time.  This week I'm on it...a little late in the day...but I'm here.  We did have one person who participated and left a comment with her link in last weeks blog post.  I just couldn't get it together to get the link up and running.  As a result of last weeks mishap...I would like to extend the banner dead line.  I'm going to post Mr. Linky for this week's challenge and if you have a banner and would like to share may do so.  I'll draw two winners.  One for the banner and one for the Window challenge.

So...on that note...Welcome back for another great challenge.  This week we're showcasing some of our new stamps.  Today's challenge card features the new Through the Window set and Paris Nights Background.

You don't have to have window stamps to participate in this challenge.  You can make your own from Spellbinders or punches.

What do you see when you look through the window?  I see beautiful pine trees with a light dusting of snow.  there is a little bit of snow in the corners of the window...winter is coming.  Well...ok...I don't see that now...and being that I live in San Diego...I would have to travel just to even pretend to see this through a window...but it sounded good.

I stamped Medium Pines and Rocks on white card stock...then one of the windows from the new set.  I stamped the window on acetate with stazon and added a little bit of glitter using Scrap Happy glue.  The window was stamped again on white card stock and then cut out with a craft knife.  The acetate sits behind the cut out window and then they're popped up over the trees.  The inside reads "bad weather always looks worse through a window"

Share your window scene, you punched windows, window frames, or for that matter...a computer with windows.  Take your imagination where ever you would like to go.

Don't forget...if you had a link with your banner/garland that you would like to share from last weeks sure to add it this week.

The Rules are Simple:

•Make a new card/project incorporating this weeks challenge (you are welcome to combine with other challenges and you do not have to use TRC stamps but if you do you'll be entered twice for the random prize draw)

• Link your card below with Mr. Linky (in green).  There may be a delay in showing the link, please be patient.

•Mention our challenge, on your post (with a link back here)

*If you post in a public gallery use key word TRCC31

*NOTE: Please enter only one card each week! Each week we will randomly draw a winner out of the projects that are entered and the winner will win a prize.

This weeks prize is a $10 gift certificate to The Rubber Cafe online store

Submitted my banner challenge submission and my window one will coming shortly. I actually already posted the window project on facebook because I Melissa asked me to after seeing at the Scrapbook Expo in Chicago (I had just finished it at the crop when she came in to see us).
