I’m late! Sorry! I’ve had one of those days. Scheeeez! But it’s all good now, sitting with the lap top in the knee and with a hot cup of tea right beside me. This week’s challenge is all about envelopes. But no envelope without a card to tuck inside it so I’ll start with that one.
Isn’t the Paris Nights Background stamp absolutely MAGNIFICENT??? I’m in love, I can tell you! I stamped it with Archival ink Coffee on vanilla colored cardstock and clear embossed it.Then I went over it all with some Distress ink Broken China and Frayed Burlap. Stitched it down on some vanilla cardstock and mounted the sentiments (Vintage is from Vintage Treasures and Love from Fabulous Phrases).
I decided to dress up the inside too and used the background stamp but used a kleenex to wipe off ink so that it’s mainly the tower and it’s nearest surrounding that gets stamped with soft edges.
I think you can guess the look of the envelope by now…. It’s dressed with a fabulous tower!
I hope you want to play with us and make a fancy envelope! You find all the info about the challenge HERE!
And if you haven’t already, go check out the new The Rubber Café homepage. WOW!!!
Hope you all have a wonderful new week!
