Window of Opportunity

Hi folks! This week’s challenge is Through the Window and I’ve been working on making  a window scenery. I ended up with a simple distressed view. I liked it best. Oh well, it was a fun process…

Window of opportunity

I inked up a white smooth piece of cardstock with Stormy sky and Rusty hinge Distress ink and it feels like home to me. The yellow/brown fields in front of the sea. With a blue sea and sky meeting in the almost invisible horizon. *Sigh* :) I don’t live by the sea anymore, but I sure miss it!

I’ve used the new fabbie stamp set Through A Window, a set you will se a whole lot of in the future.

I stamped on of the windows twice, once on the inked cardstock, and once on a greyish cardstock. I cut out the windows from the grey piece and then layered the stamped pieces with a sheet of gelatin in between to give a old vintage window feeling.

We hope to see you play with us this week! You find all the info about the challenge HERE.

Take care!
