Basically backgrounds ... No Designer paper Challenge

Wait hold the phone .... No designer paper Challenge ... Kinda a wrong title . Each and everyone of us is a designer and ... we can make our own designer paper ... with a few simple techniques . This week all week long we are going to focus using our stamps and adhesive to make our own papers . (Don't forget your ink and your Lil Inkerz )
All of our fabulous Rubber Cafe designers are being put to the test this week ... we have a few designers that are paper addicts ... I think that this will be a great challenge ...
So as the owner of the Rubber Cafe its so much fun to play on the blog .. when I have time off the road from traveling .

This week I decided to make an explosion box using our Vintage Treasures stamp set and (background ?????)
Using Vintage photo ink , Fired Brick and Memento Tuxedo Black ... I used the two step stamping technique .

??? For those of you that do not know ... ink up your stamp
Stamp it once and then stamp it else where on your paper .. ???

For the inside of the box I took some of my large collection of wire and coiled it on my paint brush to make my coils. Am I the only one that has a love of wire? I buy it all the time and rarely use it ...
To get the Butterfly to pop .. I cut a thin strip of our Plastic paper and folded in on either end. Although ScrapHappy Glue is fabulous I used a hot glue gun to make sure it really stuck down.
Here is the outside of the box ... I hope this Challenge will make you think outside the box a bit.

Thanks for coming by today ...

Simply amazing Melissa! I had to laugh....I was just twisting wire around a paintbrush this week! I pulled it out of some ribbon and couldn't toss the wire! I'm sure you'll see it on one of my creations someday! Great project!
