Here's my submission for this weeks "Halloween Layout" challenge, hope you like it. I used the idea I had when making a card a while back that I had said would work well for a layout. I haven't really done my own scrapbook pages before so when I've made three in the past month for The Rubber Cafe blog I've really surprised myself. First it was my Little Piggy one and then the Fall one and now this one. Don't get me wrong I love scrapbooking traditional pages but I'm more of a mini album person....anyhoo enough rambling.
In this project I used You Need to Dust stamp and embossing powder in the corner of the page and cut out the candy bits on the Halloween Candy stamp, colored them with promarkers (before cutting them out). I used The One and Only Tape to adhere everything together and Scrap Happy Glue for the smaller pieces. I used some old stickers I had from previous halloweens ago for the title, a punch for the pocket I made on the front and some ribbon to attach to the photos of the carved pumpkins with staples.
Hope this gets you in the mood for halloween
(I know it's hard to do with the Christmas decorations already hitting the shelves)
Have a great week
