Get Well

Hi! I’m sharing an experiment today.:) I was playing with my inks and mists and gesso this weekend, giving the art journaling a try. I ended up using quite a lot of my Rubber Café stamps so I thought why not do a card while at it. So, not my usual cas style…

Five different stamps on this one. I started making the base panel using some gesso as background on kraft cardstock and then misted it all with some nice green and yellow mists. I masked the lower left corner off from the green mist and stamped  the 18th century proclamation with peeled paint instead. I also used the Bingo stamp and a couple of stamps from the Vintage Treasures Set. The sentiment is from the Fabulous Phrases set.

When done my work space was a mess, I was a mess, I had gesso on my clothes… an apron is a good idea! And I was happy, soooo much fun!!! :) I need to practice more and I sure will. As soon as I’ve gotten my apron.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great new week!

Such a beautiful card! My favorite kind of work is the kind that leaves you with color stained hands, and ruined T's, so I was really loving all the technique you had going on~
