Hi! Happy Thursday! I have a CAS card made out of scrap cardstock and some of my favorite background stamps from The Rubber Café. I saw this amazing Canvas when participating in the inspirational challenge over at SCS and thought it would look great on a card.

I started with making a heart base. If you have Spellbinders Heart dies they are perfect. I drew mine free handed on a piece of cardstock and cut out. Works fine too. The heart measures 3 3/4 x 3 3/4.

Then I pulled out my scrap pieces of Pugnacious Signature Paper, background stamps – 18th Century Proclamation, Pattern Royale, Background Basics 1 and Background Basics 2 – Embossing ink, Clear Embossing powder and some Distress inks: Broken China, Tumbled Sky and Evergreen Bough. And stamped away. When done I inked the paper pieces with distress inks and cut them  in stripes and layered over the heart.

I cut out LOVE with my Grand Calibur and adhered it on the heart with 3D foam and then added the heart to my card. Done. You get some inky fingers, but it’s fun!

Thanks for stopping by!!!
