Hi all!
Happy Belated Birthday to Melissa!!! Hope you had a wonderful birthday and weekend!!! ♥♥♥
I have a window card to share today. I’ve used the Through a Window set.
I made an outdoor scenery trying to get the feel of my childhood archipelago (which I miss every day!!!) with the sea, the sky, the cliffs and some beach grass.
I painted a large piece of the paper and when dry I stamped the window where the background was the way I wanted it. When done I added the straws –
Green Foxtail and yellow foxtail - stamped with Distress ink, Vintage photo. Then cut it all out!
To get a more windowy-look, I inked the piece up with clear embossing ink and added a few layers of Utee. It gives a thick glass look that shines beautifully.
I stamped a second window on
Pugnacious Signature Paper an colored it with Copics and cut it out and mounted the window frame over my scenery. I used some 3D foam to get some dimension and the feel of depth.
Here is a close up where the glass window and 3D foam effect is visible. The card design is based on this week’s Card Patterns Sketch.
Thanks for stopping by!
