Making ARTsy cards

Hey there bloggers! Rita Barakat here with an artsy card!
I was so excited to get the Vintage Treasures stamp set and use all these wonderful Images!
Not really being a card maker I had to think out of the box so right away I went for
my Faber-Castell stash and my journal.
I stamped the images all over the page...

 Added color with Gelatos...
Some of the places I blended with Lil' Inkerz -
I didn't use water- just blended the color with the dry sponge.
On the upper right hand corner I used water and a paint brush-
you can see the color is more vibrant that way.

Cut my page down to a card size...

Edged with Gelato (blended-dry).
I added this square to a blank card and decorated it.
The butterfly was cut from the same page and mounted only in the center
If I can do it so can you!
Happy scrapping!

Very pretty it turned out nice. I have gelatos, but have never used them.

Rita, I'm going to have to get busy using my Gelatos I see! I got some while at CKU Reunion in La Jolla this past fall, but have not yet broken them out of their packaging. The colors are so bright and vibrant! I can only imagine how they look in person. All I can say is Wow!
