Kitchen Cherries

Hello to you....cherry here to share another fun project using the small cherries stamp set.  Such a fun versatile set.  This time I used both cherry stamps in the set.  I used the smallest of the two for the mini banner and the larger one for the cherry spool.  We have been redoing our I have kitchen decor on the mind and thought I would make a little something cheery for the kitchen.  I also thought it would be a good time to use a few of my coveted wood antique spools instead of hoarding them.  I started by diecutting my papers and cardstock using the large scallop circles from Spellbinders and also the standard circles from spellbinders and just layered them together using my scrap happy glue.  I than stamped each circle and stitched around the edges.  It was than time to add the buttons and twine to each circle.  I cut little circles in each diecut for the banner and also ran the twine around each spool and added vintage buttons for detail and than wove the ribbon through each piece to create the banner.  Very easy and fun!  The standing cherry spool was easy as well...all I had to do was add some ribbon around the spool and added a vintage button.....I hot glued a lollipop stick to the back and than glued it down inside the spool.  This would also make a cute Mothers day gift!  Hope you enjoy and happy weekend!  hugs,  cherry
