Oh Happy day !

Hello everyone,  TGIF !!

Natt Smith here to share with you what I discovered and think is a really fun technique for stamping!
I usually stamp on plain smooth paper so I can color them later but today I was brave enough to stamp on texture paper and it turned out great!

Take a look here.

" Happy Day "

All I did was use brown shadow ink and with the butterfly from the Vintage Treasure stamp set I stamped directly onto my textured cardstock.  Next I cut out the butterfly so I could adhere them to my card front with pop-up dimensional adhesive.

My card base is a floral print paper making this a very clean and simple card to make!  To finish it I cut out the phrase "Happy Day" placing it just below the butterfly.  Finally, I machine stitched around the card with matching thread.

Thank you so much for stopping by and don't forget to try using your stamps on textured cardstock,  I'm sure you will be just as surprised as I was how pretty it turns out!

Beautiful Natt. I love the color combo and how very summery it is. Makes me smile!
