Happy Friday!!!
Welcome to The Rubber Cafe DT Blog!
I hope you have had a great week and that you have some fun planned for the upcoming weekend.
Today I have a Vintage Card to share with you.
This is not my usual style but I am really happy with the way it turned out.
The bottom layer of the card was made with Cream Pugnacious Signature Paper. I stamped 18th century proclamation with Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink on a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch panel. Then I tore around the edges of a panel and then sponged on Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress stain around the edges and on the front. The second layer was a little smaller to begin with. I stamped Roaring 20's Placard with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress stain.
I embossed the gears with Aged Copper Embossing Powder and added a little more embossing powder randomly around the edges of the panel. The metal gear is by Tim Holtz.
The gear and dress form stamps are from the Steampunk Charity Wings set.
The two flowers and the pearl flourish is by Recollections from Michael's.
I left the sentiment off the card so that it could be used for any occasion.
Thanks for stopping by and if you are celebrating on Sunday...Happy Mother's Day!
