Cottage roses...

Hello there! I have a quick little share today....a peek at a gorgeous new rose set and new sentiment, that is coming soon to The Rubber Cafe.   I will keep this short and sweet...I am getting over a migraine and the pills I take do not make me the smartest tool in the shed.

I made a card....I was craving yellows...sunshiney and bright.  Something to cheer my soul up.

I simply covered my card and stitched around it.  I wanted a bit of a patchworky feel to this, the papers I chose reminded me of a warm quilt.

So I stamped each rose separately and stitched around each one and layered them using some foam adhesive.

I added vintage crochet lace to the bottom and snippets of it along with button.  I also used the sweet sentiment that comes with the set...and added some root beer jellie dots .

That is that...just a simple and homey card!  I hope you enjoy!  hugs, cherry
