Back to School Goodies!

Hi Everyone and happy Saturday!!

Last week I shared with you my School house box- and if you remember I told you I was thinking up some fun goodies I could put inside...  well I'm back here today to share with you what I came up with.

Using the Fruit Medley stamp set from the Rubber Cafe - I started off by making some cute lunch box notes!  I found these sweet little brown bags, which was the perfect size for a 2 1/2 x 3 inch note card.  I made 3 by topping each with different fruits and stamped the phrase, 'Knock, Knock... " on the outside of each bag.  I thought it would be fun to include a Knock, knock joke as well as simple words of encouragement - like "I love you!", "Have a great day!", and "You are so Special!".

Next I made a fun pencil box holder by using my scorepal I made an open ended box and decorated it with papers from G45's "ABC Primer" line.  At the top I stamped the phrase "Just a Little something..." also from the Fruit Medley set.

My bookmark was a fun addition- when I was creating the pinwheel using our On the Fence die I cut the rounded edge off and than cut it half to join.  I than scored using my Score Pal, and adhered down to my home-made gloobers using our Scrap Happy Glue once my pinwheel was finished I decided it would be the perfect finish  for my bookmark.  The bookmark itself was made by cutting the top on the fold cutting the corners at an angle and a dove-tail at the bottom.  On the inside I have thin magnets that will keep it attached to the page.

Lastly I took a fun notepad that was kraft in color and seemed to fit in perfectly with my other projects.  This I decorated a band at the bottom - using G45 ABC Primer paper and a black doily.  I accented it with another one of my rolled roses made from corrugated paper and once again our On the Fence die.  I created a tutorial for these flowers during the blog hop here on my own blog.  If you missed it check it out now!

I created a cute little clipboard - using some chalkboard paper, and yes, that's really white chalk I used to write the 'ABC'.  I also added this the back side of my roof on the Schoolhouse box displayed below.  I used twine to add details on the clipboard, the pencil case, and wrapped around my rose on my notepad.

That's everything!  Hope you enjoy this and found some inspiration - have a good weekend.
