Enjoy!!

Who Hoo! I am so excited to be here sharing my project with you!
My name is Dawn or you might recognize me as Dawnll. How lucky can a girl get? I was so thrilled to be asked to be the October Guest Designer here at The Rubber Cafe, with this amazing design team and staff.
The hardest part was deciding what to work with first... So let me share my first project with you now.
I made a cotton Halloween bag, what do you think? Each
of the pieces are paper and dimensional, using Charming Kitty and Antique Trunk both from The Rubber Cafe'.
I started by stamping this
fun chest on a patterned sheet of paper and loved the leather look. I also
really like Ranger's Distress Ink in Tea Dye for this type of
project. You know it is available in many forms besides an ink pad, even stains
would work well with this type stamping.
I chose to cut out the paper piece and also remove
the inside of the chest. I stamped a chest image on my cotton bag.I used my Scrap Happy Glue when adhereing it down on my bag making sure the background of my image was well covered so it wouldn't lift up.
I
stamped and fussy cut two of the fun cat, are those glasses and hats the cutest?
After fussy cutting I covered both cats with Funky Flock -
Black Soot and LOVE the texture.
I placed one cat in the
Antique Trunk and decided to emboss with this new to me, Tea Stained Mica Fragments embossing powder. These fragments work wonderfully and
really looked like Treasure!
The last step
was to stamp a couple extra cat faces and cut out just the
glasses and hats.
Used some fun dimensional
glitter to accent these pieces and then attached with Scrap Happy
Glue.
Well that is my fun project I have to share today, hope
you enjoyed my first post.
Thanks for stopping by! I will be back at the end of the month with another.
