Happy, Happy Birthday!

Hi! Happy Holidays! And Merry Christmas to you who celebrate it! :) For us in Sweden, the big celebration day is today - with family dinner, Santa and the lots. We also have another very important birthday today. 12 years ago my dear son decided to enter this world and give his parents the most beautiful Christmas present ever. So today’s card is the birthday card my boy got this morning.

I am so in love with the new release stamps and could use them over and over again… This time I used the Pictures Framed with a piece of patterned paper – it’s from American Craft’s Dear Lizzy paper pad. I cut out the top of the balloons so they could fly free.

The amazing birthday sentiment is a favorite. So bold and beautiful. It’s called HappyBirthday! (love when the stamp’s name is short and easy, not always the case… :))

Both frame and sentiment are stamped with black Versa Fine pigment ink and then clear embossed. The black stamped image gets a perfect finish and the black stands out beautifully.

Ok, here is the inside. I used some of the sentiments from the set here. Love these!!! And on the back of the front (it’s a top fold card) I have added one of his birthday presents –  one year free internet on the iPad he also got (yes I know, spoiled rotten). I prepared the iPad in advance, so it’s only to start it up and get going. Hence the sim card is out, I replaced it with a heart for some cuteness...  which he did not notice, since he was ecstatic over the presents.

Well, it turned out to be a good birthday card. He liked it, thought it was festive and did not for one bit have any Christmas-y about it – which he appreciate. He likes to have an as Christmas free birthday morning as possible.

But to you all I’d love to wish a wonderful Holiday!!!
