Brighten Someone's Day!

Hello everyone!  Hope you are having a great week so far.  I don't know about you but I am ready for spring.....the weather has been pretty yucky here in Missouri where I live.  So today I want to share with you a card I made to brighten someone's day.

As you can see, I used some bright happy colors for this card.  The card measures 5 1/4 x 5 1/4" square.  To make this card, I first stamped the sentiment image onto some white cardstock.  I positioned my die in place and using a piece of removable tape, I cut/embossed.  You can find Scotch Removable Tape at the big office supply stores.  Even that blue painters tape works for this technique.

I do this technique alot because this makes sure my sentiment is right where I want it and because Spellbinders dies are open, its super easy!  The sentiment I used is from the set - Friends and its layered onto a Scalloped Labels One die cut.  I used the Lovely Lattice M-Bossabilities Side A from Spellbinders to emboss the white layer behind the sentiment.  I made some ribbon flowers with some pearl bling in the middle.  To complete this card, I tied a ribbon into a bow.

Hope you have enjoyed my card and I hope you have a great week!
