Hi all! Happy Monday!
Today’s card is a go with a masculine valentines day using non valentines products. I wanted to do a special card for my dad since he has been very ill the last month and I really want him to know that I love him. He is not much for the pinks or the reds or the hearts. But I do hope he will like this.
I used a clear embossing technique on this card as main feature. I stamped the fabulous wood grain with clear embossing ink on Kraft cardstock and embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I went over the stamped image with Distress ink Vintage photo and Walnut stain.
Then I trimmed the stamped image and went over the edges again with Walnut stain, matted it on Kraft cardstock and stitched around the edges. A canvas tag with my sentiment, a bow and a flower and it’s done.
Thanks for stopping by!
