This is a 5 1/4" square card something I don't do often, but it just seemed like it this design needed a more symetrically balanced card. I cut out the center with my Spellbinder Classic Circle dies, and layered some acetate in the center - so I could attach the hands of the clock to the card front.
The year 2013 was stamped on the inside of the card - I'm using a 6x6 pad from Authentic, and love the added detail this paper gives it. The 'zero' is a clock from the G45 paper. Closed the hands lay over the clock face, and you can see the year through the window.
To finish I stamped two 'Happy's one from each stamp set- and some neutral brown mulberry flowers. A simple card once it was engineered properly with the inner circle cut out and the papers layered.
I hope your 2013 is starting out with a bang! I am filling out my resolution book - and have '8' so far-just 2 more to go!
Here's hoping you all have a properous and happy year!
