Love You Card

Jen here with a Valentine's Day card to share with you!   I used some of the new stamp sets and Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft to create this fun card.
I started out with a punched out heart from a piece of chipboard.  I masked an area with the heart.  I used a craft mat to scribble some Gelatos® in Bubble Gum, Red Cherry, Metallic Melon, and Lavender. I added water with a spray bottle and then blotted the front of the card onto the puddle.  Once it dried, I used a script stencil from Prima over the masked area.  I used a sponge tool from the Lil' Inkerz set to apply Black Licorice Gelatos® over top. I removed the mask and sketched around the shape with PITT Artist pens.

A stamp of Love from the Remember The Moments stamp set using Stamper's Big Brush Pens. I used Scrap Happy Glue to apply Jellie Dots around the heart.
Then I used the Don't Be Wishy Washy stamp set over patterned papers and cut out.   I stamped the words "LOVE YOU" with the Pictures Framed set.

I layered the Washi Tape pieces and added some twine along with some staples to give it an edgy feel.
The inside had a Card Label and the masked heart piece was used as a design element.  I also stamped the fun sentiment from Pictures Framed set.
I love artsy cards to give my loved ones because they are so different from the commercially produced cards!  They love getting a "one-of-a-kind" card!
