Valentine's Day is almost here! Are you hoping for chocolate?? I sure am!
Today I don't have a Valentine's Day card for you....but I do have something rather sweet for you. I've created this card for The Rubber Café using the Hey Cupcake! set. I kept everything soft by using pinks and vintage greys, I just love this combo and love using it!
I had fun using the mini images in the set. I created a banner from them. It is a neat way to add importance to smaller images. I also used the bingo card stamp as a background to the banner. A soft pink rayon ribbon and stickpin cluster provides more dimension and just cute nestled next to the gingham paper added to the lower portion of the card.
I stamped the What's up Cupcake and Have a sweet birthday phrases that come with the set in the lower Right hand corner, and finished the bottom off with some sweet crocheted lace.
Here's a closer look at my banner, you can see I gave them all a bit of detail by coloring the candles and cherries and added some glitter to the top of the cupcakes. I also used some cute little Jellie dots on the cherries.....for the shine you see on cherries of course.
Hope you enjoy...and have a Happy Valentine's day! ~ cherry
