Button Paper Posies

I am very excited to be sharing this project that I designed using stamps from The Rubber Café.  I created Button Paper Posies!  I’m thrilled with the results and I hope that you will be too!

These fun little flowers developed a retro feel by using the Grandma’s Doilies stamp set.

Leaves were easily created by stamping the 18thCentury Proclamation stamp and cutting the leaf-shapes freehand.

To assemble the flowers, cut a piece of pliable wire approximately 12-15” long.  String the buttons and doily stamps onto the center of the wire. Do this just as if you were using thread. Bring the two ends of the wire together and twist to form one stem.

They look darling without the green floral tape, but if you add it like I did, it makes your flowers look more finished.  When wrapping the wire stem with the florist tape, twist tightly.  If desired, you can add your leaves.
Make a bouquet by creating as many unique flowers as you would like.

This was one of my favorite stamping projects.  Thank you for allowing me to share my Button Paper Posies with you.
Happy Stamping!
