Hello! Dawn Rene here today from Designs By Dawn Rene.
I am very honored to be The Rubber Cafe's, July guest designer!
I became of big fan of The Rubber Cafe' when I took one of their classes at the Scrapbook Expo in Atlanta last year.
Today I am sharing two projects - a mixed media canvas and a card.
The highlight of the mixed media canvas is a precious fairy from the "Fairy On the Rocks" stamp.
Next I stamped the image on white cardstock with black ink and did some basic coloring with Copic markers and Faber-Castell gelatos. The background is a collage of raffia ribbon, mica fragments, a printed book page, and a painted chipboard fairy. Faith, Hope, Love are stamped in the moonlight!
Next up is a card I made, once again using the Faith, Hope, Love stamp and Grandma's Doilies.
The card is simple, I have seen a resurgence in vellum lately, so I decided use that today in my card.
I embossed The Rubber Cafe's Grandma's Doilies on the vellum in gold and overlaid it on the card stock which is stamped with Faith, Hope, Love stamp.
I look forward to seeing The Rubber Cafe' again at the Scrapbook Expo in Atlanta on July 12th and 13th! And be sure to check back here when I will have a second post to share with your on the 16th!
