I've been playing with The Rubber Cafe's background stamps and in today's card I'm using Background Basics 2 to back my simple sentiment, showcasing the chalkboard technique.
Here is a super close up....I did not color it perfectly, to keep the look of hand-drawn chalkboard art.....
The background panel is stamped with a striped effect using The Rubber Cafe's, Background Basics 2 set. The picture below shows the background in progress. I stamped the center first, then stamped half of the card at each end.
The card is finished with a simple button and bow, and I used our Scrap Happy Glue to adhere Pearl Jellie Dots to the punched border along the bottom.
"Thanks a Bunch" for stopping by the Cafe' today!
Get those background stamps inked up and give 'em a workout!

Really nice card, the chalkboard look is so fun right now.
This card is perfect! I am so lovin the Chalkboard look. Yours is beautiful. Could me loving it be due to us not having them anymore at school?
hmmm...still have chalkboards at my school, just can't use them. the dust interferes with the new technology. LOL.
Do and always have loved that slightly washed away look. This is a really cute card.
