A Rosy Birthday!

Hello Friends!

I have another birthday card to share with you today.  I don't know about you but my scrap box gets really full sometimes.  So the other day, I started going thru it and found some papers I thought would make a really good card.

I found a A2 card base in my scrap box!  How lucky was that?  I used some Basic Grey patterned paper and a die cut that was in the box, too.  Whenever I have extra die cuts that I don't use, I put them in my scrap box.  Sometimes they come in really handy.  The small rose from Rose Garden was stamped onto some purple vellum using Versamark ink and sprinkled it with White Embossing powder.  After I heat set the embossing powder, I fussy cut the roses out.

I attached the roses with some foam squares that I put in the middle of the flowers.  I stamped the sentiment from True Friend onto my rectangle die cut and finished the card by adhering Pearl Jellie Dots in the corners.  Such a fun card to make especially since I used up some of my scraps!
