Rustic Fall Card

Hello!  Dawn Rene here with you today sharing a rustic fall card I made with the Blocked Leaf Stamp from The Rubber Cafe'.

I was immediately drawn to this stamp when I saw it because of its abstract design. There are so many fun ways you can ink and play with this stamp.  Today I decided for this fall themed card to use Tim Holtz's distressed stains and paints to ink the stamp and just love the water color results!

My overall card size is a 6" x 6" square with a cream cardstock base, which worked well with the dimensions of this stamp which is about 3.5" x 4.5".   It gives enough room for other embellishments while still providing the focus on the stamped image.

I added some texture to the card with burlap, gimp trim and some bronze grommets.
I glitzed it up a little by adding cream Frantage embossing enamel on the top and tea stained mica fragments on the die cut leaves.

Everything is distressed by tearing the edges and inking with Rich Cocoa Ink

Here's a closeup...
