Today I'm going to share with you another paper piecing technique, I have done this before but cut my pieces rather by feel than by measurement. When I saw this more measured and precise approach, (I can't remember where unfortunately) I decided to give it a try.
I tweeked it a bit for each project and turned the second one into a Shaker card as well so here we go!
Gather your supplies:
Start by picking 3-4 coordinating prints. I couldn't decide so I made 2 projects each using a set of 4 different patterns all from Bo Bunny Autumn Song, and all found in your kit!
For my Thankful pumpkin card:
1. Cut a 4 1/2 x 6 plain cardstock-this will be what you build your raident pieces on. I use a lighter wt less costly cardstock for this type of thing it won't be seen, and it helps to cut down on bulk.

Cardbase is a top folding horizontal 4 1/4 x card, cut and score a 4 1/4 x 11 pc so it measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
2. Cut your selected patterned papers, each 1 3/4 x 4 incles. Now take each pc and cut diagonally the long way) as seen in the pic below:
3. Start arranging your pieces -determining where you want your focal point to be - see in the card it was centered like Sunrise-on the tag, I angled it from the upper RH corner to create a downward patterned to the falling leaves.
Once you've finished arranging them trim any layers -and cut to fit your card front.
gather the rest of the pieces
For my card I cut and pulled a piece of burlap - 2 pumpin clusters, and the wood banner and began assembling.
I used the other piece as the background for a Shaker tag and filling the box with the gold leaf sequins.
