Creative Cafe' - Kit Telescoping Card

Hi Everyone!   I'm back today to share a card techinique that I believe is called the Telescope card.

I've wanted to try this out for awhile now, and this seemed to be the perfect stampset to give it a whirl.  I'm again featuring our Creative Cafe' - KOM for December Wish Big!

Here's a look at my card from the front.

Card dimensions:
This is a top folded 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card - stamped on 4 x 5 white card stock
and backed with the Pink Print floral cut at 4 1/8 x 5 1/4.

To get started...
I stamped a bunch of the envelopes from Add -on Stamp set, and so I could decorate the insde of my card I did this twice.

Using my Spellbinder Classic Ovals (both Small and Lg sets) I was able to create a progression of Oval die cuts

I also used distress ink to get the blue while my dies were still on each layer, which gave my telescope even more depth!

From the side you can see I assembled my layers using pop-up dimensional adhesives.

Coloring some owls and adding my sentiment just gave it more fun.  I also added some additional envelopes that I fussy cut out to adhere to some the edges.

Here's a view from the inside...

Here I just cut out one oval - leaving room for my 'Wish Big' sentiment which I stamped in Black Memento ink.  I used my White Wink of Stella pen to add more pop -to the word 'Big' - I used Clear Wink pen on my red hearts - and this seem to give them a bit more glitz!

This card makes me smile!  I hope you enjoyed it and will give it a try-
