Kit, I used Scrap Happy Glue, memento ink, copic markers, and a Sizzix Heart die.
I found the tutorial for this card on Splitcoast Stampers. This is the first time I ever made one and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was and am so happy with the final card!
This is a view of the card from the front when it's closed.
And this is how it looks on the inside when it opens!
To make this card begin by cutting a piece of 8 1/2" x 11" in half to create two 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" panels.
Fold the first panel in half. On the front of the card cut out a square window 1" from the edge on all four sides.
Cut a panel of patterned paper 4" x 5 1/4". Create the window by cutting 7/8' from the edge on all four sides. Adhere to the card front as shown.
Score the second piece of cardstock at 4 1/4" and 6 3/8”. Go in 2 1/8” from the left edge and score down to 1” from the top and up to 1” from the bottom.
Lay the second panel on the backside of the first panel with the lever poking through the window.
Glue the two panels together with Scrap Happy Glue on the end panels so that it looks like the picture below.
Cut patterned paper panels slightly smaller than each of the panels and adhere with Scrap Happy Glue.
Continue decorating the panels.
Here's a closer look and the last two panels.
Make sure you stop by all month long for more inspiration. I have seen some of the projects that the other ladies have created with this months Creative Cafe' kit and you are going to LOVE them!
I hope you enjoyed my lever card and will give it a try!
