Hanging Hearts Valentine Card!

Hello Rubber Cafe' fans!  Hope your new year is off to a great start!  I know mine is because I absolutely love this month's Creative Cafe' Kit - For The Love of Cats and Dogs!  The cute dog and cat images are so much fun to color.  But the cute animals aren't the only images in the kit.  Here is a card I created using some of the other images in the kit!

Here;s  a look at some of the supplies I used to make this card.

To make this A2 sized card, I made the following cuts:
  • Card base- Kraft cardstock - 4 1/4 x 11"; scored and folded at 5 1/2"
  • Black cardstock - 4 1/4 x 4"
  • Red patterned paper - 4 1/4 x 3 3/4"
Now its time to stamp the sentiment image using black ink; using the stamp set from the kit; "You've Stolen My Heart".   I positioned my heart die into place and die cut around my sentiment 'Happy Valentines Day'.

Now using the postage stamp I stamped it 4 times, and colored in the heart with red. Fussy cut these out and using an 1/8 hole punch, punch each at the top corner, so they can be hung like a banner. I also punched 2 holes with this same punch at the top of my heart.

This is how I positioned the images on my card front.  I threaded the twine thru and tied them into place but I also used small 3d foam squares to keep them in place.

Here is my finished card front!  I added a bow tied from the red seam binding and then put the two heart pins included in the kit thru the middle of my bow.
Finally using my Scrap Happy Sheer Glue, I adhered this to my Kraft base to complete the card!

Thanks for checking out my card today!
I know you are going to love this month's kit as much as I do!!
