Wild Rose Cards

Hello! Dawn Rene here today to share a couple cards I made with The Rubber Cafe's Wild Rose stamp. This large stamp is so much fun to work with - so many possibilities!

TRC Rose Cards wm

On the first card, the rose is two layers. I stamped the Wild Rose on the patterned Graphic 45 green paper and fussy cut it out. I distressed the edges of the leaves and rolled them slightly to give them some dimension. I stamped the Wild Rose again on white cardstock, colored the rose part of the stamp with Copic markers and fussy cut out just the rose. I used Kool Tak Foam to adhere the rose to the base so the leaves show underneath the rose.

For the second card, I decided to play with The Rubber Cafe's Funky Flock. I stamped the Wild Rose on the patterned Graphic 45 green paper and fussy cut it out. I distressed the edges of the leaves and rolled them slightly to give them some dimension. I stamped the Wild Rose again on a different piece of Graphic 45 paper with a VersaMark Watermark Stamp Pad. I poured the Funky Flock over the stamp and let is set for a couple minutes. Then I sprayed a clear sealer over the top of the stamped image to keep the Funky Flock in place. You can't see it well in the picture, but the Funky Flock is soft and furry like. I love the added texture!
