Cute Boots and Creative Cafe' April KOTM

Who is ready for Spring?!!  I am!!  Laura here sharing a little Springtime today with the new KOTM Spring is in the Air, from The Rubber Cafe'!

The Base: 4&1/4 by 5&1/2" green cardstock

First Layer:
2"x5&1/2" strip of floral patterned paper and 2"x5&1/2" strip of pink swiss dot paper punched with butterfly punch along one edge.  This first layer was adhered using Scrap Happy Glue and looks like this:

Second Layer:
1/4"x5&1/2" strip of green criss-cross pattern paper along top under butterflies
3/4"x5&1/2" strip of pink swiss dot paper adhered to a 1" strip of green criss-cross paper, then adhered to floral paper like this:

Notice the flower garland under the green strip....I left the edges a little long and then trimmed them to fit the card after they were glued.

The Image:
Boots stamped in Black Tuxedo Ink then colored with Copic Markers.
Using Spellbinders Labels Two, I cut the image out.  I cut the next largest in green cardstock, then trimmed to fit around white image piece.
Using Classic Circles I cut a white cardstock circle and using Butterflies Circles, I cut a pink cardstock circle.  The are adhered together with Scrap Happy Glue,  then foam taped to the card.  The boot piece is then foam taped to the center of the circle.

The Sentiment is stamped in Black Tuxedo ink and cut into a banner and adhered directly on the card.

The flowers are from the garland....I removed the strings and used bubble dots for the centers.

Thanks for stoppin' by the cafe' today....Spring is in the Air...can you feel it?!
