Get Well Soon!

Good morning TRC peeps, I am excited to share with you one last colorful and cheery card using April's Spring is in the Air Creative Cafe Kit of the Month.

I started with a 5x5 white cardstock base, backed a 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 block of my favorite paper in the paper pack, with foam tape and started to build from there.

If you look closely, you can see that I stamped my rain drops with Versa-mark, used clear sparkly embossing power to get a subtle rainy background.

I stamped my clouds with a quick drying black ink.  Being a big fan of Washi tape, I had to use it.  So, why not create a cloud.  I laid down two strips side by side, stamped the cloud image, heat set it to help it dry, trimmed it with scissors, backed it with foam tape and viola,  a "happy" cloud!

You can see that I layered my clouds with various layers of foam tape.  I cut the garland and created a floral clump.  I left the stitching and then added stitching around the rim of card to keep things uniform and tie it all together and because I love to add sewing to any project.  I then stamped my sentiment.

I truly hope you have been inspired to create with this months Creative Cafe Kit of the Month.
