These super sweet cupcakes are part of the Creative Cafe Kit of the Month - How Sweet it is! The only thing better than these cupcakes are real ones! It's Mary-Ann posting today with a simple quick card.
I started with a black base (A2 card - measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2). Then the white block, slightly smaller. I backed the entire white block with foam and wrapped my Queen & Co. twine that came with the kit, around several times. I used a small piece of tape to secure the loose ends.
I stamped the cupcake stamps on random pieces of papers. I was careful not to waste paper, if I needed the top, I stamped only the top on the edge of the paper I chose. I used Momento - tuxedo black to tie in with my twine and black base. I fussy cut the tops and bottoms of my cupcakes, backing the bottom with one layer of foam and the tops with two layers of foam. Once they were in place, I used Stickles to emphasize the sprinkles and cherry.
Now, time to go and get some real cupcakes!
See you next Saturday!
