The score lines are at 1 3/4, and 1 3/4 from that first score line. Flip it and repeat for the other side.
To cut the angle across the top - mark the 1/2 way point on each end of the 5 1/2" side- which is 2 3/4".
With your trimmer cut from the 2nd score line in on each side down to the 2 3/4" mark. Repeat this on the other side. Your finished card should have the section at 3 3.4" x 5 1/2 see the picture below of the open card.
To finish I cut a piece using the decorative paper The Sweet Life from the Melissa Frances pad included in the kit. I added a pc of white cardstock cut at 3 1/2" by 3 3/4". I stamped the phrase "I scream, you, scream, we all scream for ice cream" towards the top - and also the ice cream sundae stamp - that I just colored the red cherry for impact.
The 1 3/4" sections were cut as 1 5/8 so I'd have just a small bit of black showing - I used the blue stripe, and polka dots for the front. I angle cut them by lining up the top edge and cutting a bit more below my traced lines.
I stamped and embossed the scallop outline and inserted the word 'sweet!' I added two small heart punched from the paper- to make them shimmer, I used my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen.
Coloring and fussy cutting out the Ice Cream Sunday and Malted milk shake I layered them on the belly band.
Next I'll show you how to put together the Ice Cream Truck - I will also have a .pdf template so you can trace and cut one out of your own!
Below is a picture of my truck - cut out and scored. I used the shimmery pink cardstock from the kit- which gives it just the look I wanted for my truck.
Here I'm showing you where I've placed my red-line tape. Which when joined will be the front cab of the truck.
Here's a look with the truck pulled together.
Here's a close look....
