Make Life Sweet Wedding Card

Hello The Rubber Cafe' Fans!  Today I would like to share with you a fun project using the May Creative Cafe' Kit -- Make Life Sweet.  This card is perfect for the new bride and groom on their special day!

This was such a fun card to create.  I have a quick and easy way for your to make the banner layers that I used in the background!  To create this card, I cut the black cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11 and fold it at 5 1/2".  Then I cut the white cardstock to 4 x 5 1/4".  I stamped the sentiment centered along the bottom using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I cut the largest banner out of the black patterned paper to  3 1/2 x 5".  Using a ruler and a white colored pencil, I measured the middle of the piece plus I drew the lines for my banner.  Cut along the lines to create the banner but don't throw away that little triangle!

Cut another piece of patterned paper to 3 x 4 1/2".  Place the triangle you saved into place so that you can make the same shape of banner by lining up the triangle at the middle point.

Here is a close-up of my card!

I stamped the cake image and color the base of the cake plate.  Then on a scrap piece of white cardstock, I stamped the small flowers and colored them in using copic markers.  I coated all the flowers with Scrap Happy Sheer Glue and sprinkled on You're So Fine Glitter - Diamond Clear Cool Highlight and I rubbed it into the glue.  After this dried, I cut out each little flower and adhered them into place using 3d foam squares.  I added the pearls and twine bow at the top.  I layered this onto a Floral Oval die cut (Spellbinders) from the pink metallic cardstock in your kit!  This is a fun card to make!  Hope you will give it a try!

Love your color choice. It is so fun to see how different people create with the same thing! Great job.
