This is a Wedding Step Out Card that I made with the "Make Life Sweet" stamp set that comes with this months kit.
Here's an angled view.
To create this card you'll need an 8 1/4" x 4 1/8" panel (I used white) and a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel for the card base (I used black)
Score the white panel at 2 1/4" (score down 1 1/4"), 3 1/4" (Score down 3")
On the lower portion score 1 1/2" from the right (score up 1 1/4") and score 3" from the right (Score up 3")
Cut on the horizontal dotted lines as shown. Cut lines are 3" across.
After scoring and cutting, you should be able to fold as show in the picture below.
Adhere the back portion to the base panel (mine is black) with Scrap Happy Glue and begin decorating the card as you wish.
I used vellum banners and twine from the kit for the banner.
I cut some patterned paper slightly smaller than the front panel and adhered it with Scrap Happy Glue .
I didn't bother covering the whole panel because I knew I would be covering it up with the circle panel the cake is stamped on.
For the main panel I stamped the cake on a white circle with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored it with Copic Markers (BG000, BG01, BG02, C5, C3, C1)
I stamped the swirls in black ink too.
All the flowers were stamped, colored and cut out. Then I glued them on the cake with Scrap Happy Glue and adhered a pearl from the kit in the middle of each flower.
I backed the cake panel with a larger Kraft circle panel and then with the black die cut panel before adhering the entire piece to the card front.
The final touch was the sentiment panel which was created by stamping the sentiment on a die cut label and adhering it to the card.
When the card is flattened out, it measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and fits perfectly into a normal A2 card envelope!
I hope you enjoyed today's card! I'll be back next Sunday with another fun fold card for you but check back all week for more amazing creations from the Design Team ladies!
