I gotta tell ya, this Creative Cafe Kit of the Month for May really really rocks. Hardest part was narrowing down the products for just 4 posts for the month. I decided to create a card from a scrapbooking layout sketch I saw on Pinterest. The collage paper and stickers from Melissa Francis (included in the kit) were perfect for accomplishing the look.
If you have been following me (Mary-Ann) since I started designing for TRC, you know I love layering and dimension. For this card, started with a standard A2 kraft base. I choose the watercolor paper for the background. I backed some, not all, of the stickers and paper blocks with foam tape.
Then I stamped, layered, and added stickers until I like the placement.
I knew that I wanted to draw lines and a border with a black marker and add paint splotches of black to help my black cupcake blend a bit better.
My last addition was the Queen & Co. pearls that were included in your kit.
Thank you for stopping by again today, see you in June!
