Good Morning Rubber Cafe' fans. Mary-Ann here to share my creation made with this months Kit of the Month - How Sweet it is! This kit is packed with scrumptious goodies for all occasions.
Today I focused on ice cream, of course! Here is my completed card.....
I decided that this 5x5 card was going to carry loads of layers. The papers from Melissa Francis are just too beautiful not to use. I layered until I was content. I stamped the banner in the corner of my pink block. After the card was complete, I added Glossy Accents to the banner. Remember, this is not quick drying and the project must be left alone until completely dry.
I stamped the cone and ice cream on different patterned paper. I added Glossy Accents to the ice cream part of my cone after my card was completed. You can see the layering in this photo.
Foam tape helps with dimension and I am all about that! If this card were to be mailed, I would have deleted the foam tape and applied everything flat. Machine stitching some of your paper blocks just adds a little extra embellishment. I chose black to help emphasize my twine, ink and black border.
You can see here that I added my twisted ribbon to each layer before adding the next layer of paper raised with foam tope. Once my card was complete, I used my crop-a-file to punch two holes in the upper right to thread my twine for extra pop. At this point my card was complete and I added the Glossy Accents and pearl dots.
Looking forward to seeing you again next Saturday.
